What Can I Do to Help Facilitate My Move:   the most important thing you can do is to be prepared.  Preparation includes having all loose items that can fit in a box, boxed and sealed.  Breaking down any furniture that needs to be broken down (i.e. mirrors, beds, multi piece furniture, etc.).  Already having keys and access to your new home/apartment, so there is no unnecessary wait time.  Being available or dedicating someone to show the movers where items need to be placed in your new home.

What Kind of Payment Do You Accept:  We accept many forms of payment including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, personal checks, money orders, cashier checks and cash.  There is a 3% charge for all credit card transactions and a $40.00 returned check fee.

Will My Movers Be On Time:  if you are the first move of the day, your movers should arrive on time, barring some unforeseen complication or they should call you if they are running more than 15 minutes late for their first job.  Any other jobs that start mid day or late in the day, moving times are not guaranteed but are approximate estimations.  Once your move has been confirmed, you are on the moving schedule for that day and estimated start time.  Your moving team will call you when they are on the way to your move to give you at least 15-30 minutes of their impending arrival.  Since moving jobs can go over estimated times, the second and third jobs on their schedules may get pushed back.  As soon as the movers have a firm E.T.A. of their arrival, they will call you to inform you of their new estimated arrival time.  It is important that you know not to arrange important dates, meetings or other events on your move date that could be ruined if a job before you runs over.  Please allow plenty of open time on your move date to ensure that this does not create any problems for your personal or professional lives.

Can or Do I Tip My Movers:  like all service industries, tipping is not required but is greatly appreciated.  Our professional movers work very hard to ensure your move is done efficiently and damage free and they greatly appreciate you recognizing their hard work with gratuities.

What If I Need To Cancel My Move:  if you need to cancel your move for any reason, please try to give us at least 24 hours notice.  There is no penalty for canceling your move, and we will gladly reschedule your move when your schedule permits.

Will I Be Charged Extra for Stairs or for Specialty Items:  there is no additional charge for stairs, just keep in mind that multiple flights of stairs will increase the time it takes to move.  So a move that may only take two hours going first floor to first floor may take additional time if it requires going to a second or third floor apartment.  There is an extra charge for speciality items included but not limited to gun safes, fireproof safes or file cabinets, pianos, over-sized armoires and large aquariums.  If you have any of these items please contact your move consultant immediately so that you know what to expect on your moving day.

I Can't Get Everything Packed, Can You Help:  Yes, we can do your pack for you.  We are a full service moving company and do offer moving supplies and packing services at an hourly rate.  Please contact your move consultant for rates and to schedule help with your pack.

What If There Are Damages On My Move:   Although we strive to be damage free on all our moves,  accidents can and do happen from time to time.  If you have a claim, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can handle this issue in a timely manner.  We strive to handle all claims as quickly and fairly as possible and keep you informed during that process, so that all your expectations are met.
